Awards and Certification

Eco-Schools has two different certifications, including National and International Certifications. Every year, each school is required to submit a Green Flag Application Report that is evaluated and assessed by a National and International Jury based on performance in each of the seven steps, the school’s involvement with the community, and the school’s performance of activities that can bring the change in students, schools, and ultimately the local stakeholders.

When a school satisfies all the requirements and based on the scores received which are 85 or more than 85, Handprint Flag Award (National) or the International Award is given and schools are tagged as Eco-Schools Green Flag Certified School.
