PROMOTION ON INTERNATIONAL SDG CHALLENGE SCHOOL PROGRAM (Quality Education)
DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC:A Perspective from Students
Eco-Schools India along with Regional Centres of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE Penang), Universiti Sains Malaysia in collaboration with SMK Datuk Onn Butterworth, Penang will organize the INTERNATIONAL SDG CHALLENGE SCHOOL PROGRAM (Quality Education) DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC: A Perspective from Students through Sustainability Competition.
There are three main activities in this program:
- A. Co-curriculum Sustainability Competition (01 September – 24 September 2021)
- Healthy Camping No-Cook Snacks Food Competition

It was organized by RCE Penang, Universiti Sains Malaysia in collaboration with SMK Datuk Onn Butterworth, Penang. Eco-Schools India congratulates the winner of Shri Vasishtha Vidhyalaya.

International Phostering Competition on the theme of Ecosystem restoration
The Phostering competition was held in conjunction with World Environmental Day and International Friendship Day. The main objective of this competition was to raise awareness on Ecosystem Restoration. This competition was open to all the students who are involved in the Eco-Schools Programme from Malaysia and Eco-Schools abroad of age groups between 10 to 17. Total 1500 schools participated in this programme; among them nearly 50 schools were from abroad (including India).
From India, School named Fathima Central sr. secondary school has received a special award and recognition in the International Phostering Competition.
